Sorting Facility
Our facility handles the collection, pre‑processing, and sorting of textiles.
Each textile is carefully assessed, and those suitable for material recycling are processed and prepared for further treatment.
At the same time, we develop solutions for textiles that cannot be material‑recycled and continuously work to improve the sorting process through automated systems.
How It Works
We receive the textiles and carry out a pre-processing stage where buttons, zippers, labels, and other components are removed.
The textiles are then sorted before being recycled at our facility.
The recycled fiber is subsequently used in the production of new textiles.
At our facility, we develop fibre from both mono‑material and blended textiles, primarily intended for new textile production (closed loop).
Our facility is purpose‑built for textile recycling and is unique of its kind.
Through mechanical recycling, the fibres in the textiles are mechanically separated. This process does not use water or chemicals and is therefore the preferred first option for textile recycling. See video here. >>>
