Specialist in textile waste

NTG building

Norway's first facility for textile-to-textile recycling is located in Sandefjord.

Our expertise lies in sorting, recycling and treatment of textile waste.

In our facility, the textiles are processed in a safe way, so that the end product can be returned to the value chain and become new textile products.

We also generally work to reduce consumption and extend the life of textiles.

How it works

The advantage of recycling

By recycling textiles, we help reduce waste and utilize valuable resources that would otherwise be lost. This enables the production of new textiles from old materials, reducing the need for new raw materials.

In this way, we can build a circular value chain where textiles are given new life again and again.

Innovation and technology.

Our facility is equipped with the latest technology. In addition, we currently have a new sorting belt with artificial intelligence, which enables us to sort and process textiles more efficiently and accurately.

This technological advancement helps us meet our high quality standards.

Partners and certifications

We collaborate closely with both national and international stakeholders to develop effective solutions for textile recycling.

Norsk Tekstilgjenvinning has received support from the Norwegian Retailer’s Environment Fund, Innovation Norway, and SkatteFUNN.

This support helps us develop and implement innovative recycling solutions.

Our certifications, such as the GRS (Global Recycling Standard) and the Made in Norway label, provide our customers and partners with the confidence that they are supporting a reliable and trustworthy recycling process.
