The Solution
Mechanical textile-to-textile recycling of used textiles that cannot be reused is an important solution to the global environmental challenges posed by the textile industry.
In our facility, we develop fibers from pure and mixed textiles, which are preferably suitable for new textile production (closed loop).
Our facility is specifically designed for textile recycling and does not currently exist elsewhere.
In mechanical recycling, the fibers in the textiles are mechanically released. This does not consume water or chemicals, and is a first choice for textile recycling.
How it works
We receive the textiles and carry out a pre-processing stage where buttons, zippers, and labels are removed, and the textiles are sorted before being recycled at our facility.
The recycled fiber is then used in the production of new textiles.
