About us
Norsk Tekstilgjenvinning is a Norwegian company with expertise in the collection and recycling of textiles.
You will find us in the Pindslekvartalet in Sandefjord.
We ensure increased reuse and material recycling of used textiles from the healthcare and hospitality industries in Norway.

Norsk Tekstilgjenvinning has evolved from a reuse initiative into a prominent company in textile recycling. The company was founded in 2021 by Pål Erik Haraldsen under the name HWreuse! As an initiative within Health Workers to manage textile waste from their products. Over time, it became clear that more comprehensive solutions were needed.
In 2022, the company began exploring methods for material recycling of textiles.
By 2023, Norsk Tekstilgjenvinning secured both public and private funding, enabling the establishment of a recycling facility as well as a research and development project.
The following year, in 2024, the facility became operational, and a prefabrication center was established. The first delivery of recycled fiber served as proof of concept. The prefabrication center was then expanded to 3,500 square meters, and the company implemented an automated sorting facility for more efficient textile processing. During the year, new investors also joined the company.
Now, in 2025, Norsk Tekstilgjenvinning is rapidly advancing toward industrialization—both as a company and through its subsidiary, Norsk Tekstilsortering AS. With increasing capacity and ever more efficient processes, we continue to develop the textile recycling solutions of the future.
